BenedictUs Australia Limited is incorporated for the purpose of facilitating and carrying on work focused on development and relief in developing countries undertaken by monasteries of the Sylvestrine Congregation of the Order of St Benedict. These are Sri Lanka, India, Philippines, and Congo.

Works include education in multi-faith communities, aiming to create peace and avoid violent divisions. These schools also seek to subsidize those who cannot afford schooling. There are also projects to provide housing for the needy.
